Reveal, kept pieces and mint order

On a mystery you choose two things. I can reveal any time: on, you reveal whenever you want; off, you reveal once it sells out or you close the mint. Reveal by itself when it sells out: once the last piece is out, anyone can send the reveal, and the chain checks it is your art. Nobody can reveal other art, because the launch holds only a fingerprint of the folder. Reveal by itself costs one service fee, paid at launch: KURV then sends the reveal for you when the sale is over. Owners can show their piece: if you turn this on with each buyer seeing their own piece, an owner can show it to everyone on KURV before the reveal. It stays shown, and other marketplaces show it at the reveal.

You can keep any part of the collection, from none to all of it. Kept pieces are free, with no KURV fee, and they are the first numbers. They reach you before the sale opens, and nobody can buy until they exist or you release the rest. They carry no Vault Backing, so they can never be sold to the Vault and they trade on the market only. Vault Backing, Vault Exit and the floor count only pieces that paid backing. Pick some in the gallery and the rest are random. The collection page says how many you keep. The risks page says more.

In order: each buyer gets the next number. Random: your piece number is drawn a few seconds after you pay, from the chain’s own randomness, so nobody can choose it, not the creator, not KURV. KURV’s keeper draws every ticket, and anyone may. If nobody does in time, your piece simply draws a little later from a later block: nothing is lost, and nothing comes back, so there is no way out of a draw. Buyer chooses: buyers pick a number from a grid, and if two pick the same one, the first wins and the second pays nothing.

You write a list for each phase at launch. After launch a list can be removed, which opens the phase to everyone, but it cannot be added or changed. A listed phase with no end and nothing after it would stop the sale if the list does not buy everything, so the launch steps offer list first, then everyone.

During a sale in progress, a gift to the Vault, a stray transfer and a trade’s Vault share wait outside the book, and when the sale settles they go to everyone then holding a piece. A buyer who comes in meanwhile pays their part of it, so nobody buys in to take a share of a gift.

Shared Vault: Part of every sale backs the pieces, and owners can sell back to the Vault.

No Vault: You keep everything after KURV’s fee, and the Vault’s share of royalties. No sell-back: pieces trade on the market only.
