Welcome to KURV

KURV is launch infrastructure and a marketplace for generative NFT collections on Base. Creators bring layer folders; KURV turns them into a collection with its own contract, its own vault, and creator-set economics. Collectors mint, trade, and can sell a piece back to its collection’s vault for a funded, executable exit. Prices are in dollars, paid in USDC.

These docs describe KURV’s finished design. For what is actually running on testnet today, see What’s live right now — the one page here that changes as we ship.

  • Creators. You have layered artwork and want to launch a collection without writing code, keep a share of every sale, and give collectors a funded way out.
  • Collectors. You want to mint pieces, trade with other collectors, and price each piece on its own merits — with the option to sell a piece back to its collection’s vault instead of finding a buyer.
  1. Sign in. Use Google, Apple or email. A wallet is made for you.
  2. Bring your layers. Drop one folder per layer. On a phone, zip the folder and pick the ZIP.
  3. Generate. KURV builds every piece from your layers and rules, in your browser.
  4. Publish and launch. KURV publishes the files and launches the collection with its own contract and its own vault.
  5. Mint. The collection gets a public page. Each mint gets the next piece in line, priced in USDC.
  6. Trade, or sell back. Collectors set their own listing prices and trade with each other. A holder can also sell an eligible piece straight to its collection’s vault for the vault’s current executable payout.

Every collection has its own vault. It holds that collection’s backing — the money set aside behind its pieces — and it:

  • buys eligible pieces back from holders, for USDC;
  • keeps returned pieces as inventory and never burns them;
  • can resell that inventory once reselling it would not thin out the backing behind the pieces still held.

The vault’s payout is not a market price. Read The vault and the floor for how backing and the floor work, and Fees for exactly what each route pays. A piece can still trade for more or less than its vault payout, and the vault does not make a piece safe to buy — read Risks and disclaimer first.

No KURV token has launched. There is no ticker, no contract address and no buy link. If you see one, it is not ours. The test coins on testnet, like KTEST, are play money. They are not a KURV token.
