Banner, logo, background and colors
You choose how your collection’s page looks. All of this is optional, free and needs no signature. Open your collection’s page while logged in with the wallet that owns it, and press Edit page. This page says what each picture and color is for, and exactly how big to make it. It is the same on Base and on Solana.
The sizes
Section titled “The sizes”| Place | Size in pixels | Files and limit |
|---|---|---|
| Banner | 2800 x 700 (4:1) | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP up to 8 MB, or a short MP4, under 30 seconds, up to 30 MB, at 1920 x 480. It plays silently on a loop, so any sound in the file is never heard. |
| Banner on a phone | 1200 x 600 (2:1) | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP up to 8 MB, or a short MP4, under 30 seconds, up to 30 MB, at 1200 x 600. It plays silently on a loop, so any sound in the file is never heard. |
| Logo | 512 x 512 (1:1) | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 1 MB. |
| Background picture | 2560 x 1440 (16:9) | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 4 MB. Save a photo as JPEG or WebP to stay under the limit. |
| Picture with text | 1200 x 1200 (1:1) | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 8 MB. |
| Text over a full-width picture or video | 2100 x 900 (7:3) | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP up to 8 MB, or a short MP4, under 30 seconds, up to 30 MB, at 1680 x 720. It plays silently on a loop, so any sound in the file is never heard. |
| Full-width picture | Make it 2100 pixels wide, at any height. | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 8 MB. |
| Team: Photo | 512 x 512 (1:1) | PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 1 MB. |
A file over its limit, or of another type, is refused and your page stays as it was. A video is refused for the logo, the background picture and the other places that take a picture only.
Banner
Section titled “Banner”Banner: The wide picture across the top of your collection’s page, in any window 768 pixels wide or more, and in any window wider than it is tall, such as a phone held sideways. Its corners are rounded, so keep words and faces at least 100 pixels from each corner of the file.
Banner on a phone: A taller banner made for phones. Without it, a phone shrinks your wide banner to about 70 to 90 pixels tall, too small to read words or see faces, so add one if your banner has words or faces. It replaces the wide banner when the window is narrower than 768 pixels and taller than it is wide: a phone held upright. A phone held sideways keeps the wide banner, because a taller one would push your collection’s name off the screen. Keep words and faces at least 40 pixels from each corner of the file.
The whole picture always shows, and it gets smaller as the window narrows. On a phone held upright, below 768 pixels, the phone banner takes over, so the banner gets taller there.
If you set only the wide banner, phones show it whole, only about 70 to 90 pixels tall, too small to read words or see faces. If you set only the phone banner, computers show it whole, with a blurred copy at its sides. A phone video on its own shows whole on computers, on a plain band at its sides.
With no banner, KURV builds one from your collection’s art. On a mystery mint it shows only your image before the reveal, and your art stays hidden until then.
The Edit page has a live preview: both banners, your logo, and your background behind sample words.
The square mark beside your collection’s name, on its page, in the lists on Explore, in search, and on the card people see when your link is shared. On your page it shows at 64 to 96 pixels, and it can be smaller in lists, so use a simple mark rather than words. On your page it sits at a slight tilt with rounded corners, so keep your mark at least 120 pixels from each corner of the file. On the card people see when your link is shared, a logo can be at most 1024 x 1024. Above that, the card shows your collection’s art instead.
With no logo, KURV shows your collection’s cover there. On a mystery mint it shows your image before the reveal. If a file is another shape, KURV keeps the middle and cuts the rest.
Background and colors
Section titled “Background and colors”These decorate your collection’s page only. They do not change your pieces or their art. Your page always has a background color: yours, or KURV’s dark one if you choose none. You can add a picture under that color, and it shows faintly through it. A picture never shows at full strength. For that, use the banner.
Background picture: A faint picture behind your whole page, there to set a mood. Your background color lies over it, so the picture shows at about one fifth of its strength: very faint. The boxes cover most of it, so you see it mostly at the edges and between them. Choose something soft and simple, with no words or small details, because they will not be readable. Your main art belongs in the banner. The background picture stays still when the page scrolls, though a GIF keeps playing.
Every window cuts this picture to its own shape, even at this size, keeping the middle. A phone shows only an upright strip from the middle, about a quarter of the picture’s width. There is no separate phone picture, so keep what matters in the middle.
With no background picture, your page shows only your background color, or KURV’s if you chose none.
Background color: The main color of your page. It fills the whole window, behind the boxes and the words, and over the background picture if you add one. The boxes use a slightly lighter or darker shade of it, and the words turn black or white, whichever reads best. With a background picture, KURV may make this color lighter or darker so the words read over any picture. With no background color, your page uses KURV’s dark background.
Accent color: The color of the buttons, links and highlights on your collection’s page. If it would be hard to read, KURV lightens or darkens it until it reads, which can change it a lot. With no accent color, your page uses KURV’s pink, lightened or darkened if your background needs it. KURV tells you when that happens.
Type a color like #ff3ea5 or use the picker. If KURV has to change it, the Edit page says which color it will show, so you can pick another. Use KURV’s colors clears both colors and leaves your picture.
Pictures on the Overview tab
Section titled “Pictures on the Overview tab”- Picture with text: The square picture beside your words. If a file is another shape, KURV keeps the middle and cuts the rest.
- Text over a full-width picture or video: What fills the band behind your words. In a window 768 pixels wide or more, your words sit over the bottom of it, and long words make the band taller, which cuts more of the picture. In a narrower window it is 16:9 with your words under it. Either way, keep what matters in the middle. If a file is another shape, KURV keeps the middle and cuts the rest.
- Full-width picture: A picture across the Overview tab, shown whole at its own shape and never taller than the window.
- Team: Photo: This person’s square photo on the team section. If a file is another shape, KURV keeps the middle and cuts the rest.
A file of another shape
Section titled “A file of another shape”KURV never refuses a file for its shape. Before a picture goes up, the Edit page tells you what will happen to it and offers a crop: move the picture inside the frame, then upload. You can also keep it as it is. Cropping keeps one still frame of a GIF.
- Banner: If a file is another shape, KURV shows all of it, smaller, and a blurred copy of it fills the space around it. A square file fills only about 25% of the banner’s width. If a video is another shape, KURV shows all of it, smaller, on a plain band that fills the rest of the frame.
- Logo: If a file is another shape, KURV keeps the middle and cuts the rest.
A video cannot be cropped on the Edit page. Export it at the size in the table.
Where else these show
Section titled “Where else these show”A site on your own domain shows this same page, with its banner and background picture, in a frame under a bar with your name and logo. It uses the logo and colors set here, so changing them here changes them there. A card embedded on another site has no banner or background picture.
With the launch flow and your agent
Section titled “With the launch flow and your agent”On the Review screen of the launch, Set up your page opens these same fields once you are logged in, and the sizes are listed under it.
Your agent can set all of this after launch. Ask it to update your collection, and it tells you these sizes.
