Launch your collection

Launch takes your generated collection and puts it on Base. The wizard has seven steps. You check everything on one review screen, then confirm. For which contract testnet actually launches today, see What’s live right now.

  1. Wallet. Sign in. This wallet owns your collection.
  2. Collection. The name and size come from the collection you generated. You set the ticker, the royalty on resales and the wallet the money goes to. If you leave that last one empty, it is your sign-in wallet.
  3. How they get one. Pick a sale method. Cards marked “Not built yet” can’t be launched.
  4. The price. Set what a piece costs, the limits, any allowlist and when each phase opens.
  5. Files. Use the files you published on the Generate page, or paste the links. Choose to reveal at launch or run a mystery mint with a holding image.
  6. Review. Read the list of what will be done, then confirm.
  7. Live. Your collection is out. Open its mint page.

Every collection launches on Base. There is no network picker. Each collection gets its own contract.

The launch goes out as one operation, with the network cost taken care of as part of it. If it is interrupted, you can pick it up where it stopped. Nothing is created twice.

The review screen lists each part before you start. It only shows the parts that apply to your settings:

  1. Create the collection. Always there.
  2. Set up the sale. Always there.
  3. Link your art, or Seal your art for a mystery mint.
  4. Lock in the fingerprint. Proves the set was fixed before anyone minted. Only there if you add a fingerprint.
  5. Add the collection details. A mystery mint waits until reveal for this.
  6. Show the art, or Set the holding image for a mystery mint.

Prices, limits and allowlists can’t be edited in the app after launch. Plan your phases before you confirm.

Reveal, check every piece on the mint page, then freeze. You can’t freeze before you reveal. There is no way back from freeze.

You set your royalty on resales in the Collection step, and your primary share when you configure the sale.

Free mints$0.25 per piece to KURV, instead of the 5%No
Your primary share0–50% of what remains after KURV’s 5%No
Your collection royalty5–10%. Zero is not allowed, free mints includedNo
KURV launch chargeNone
  • On a paid sale, the rest after KURV’s 5% and your share goes to the collection’s backing.
  • Your royalty is one fee on each resale. It is split 50% to you, 25% to the vault and 25% to KURV.
  • Buyers see your share and your royalty before they buy.
  • Network costs are separate from all KURV fees.

Example: a piece sells for $100. KURV takes $5, so $95 remains.

Your shareYouBackingKURV
0%$0.00$95.00$5.00
25%$23.75$71.25$5.00
50%$47.50$47.50$5.00

The most you can set is 50% of $95, which is $47.50. Not 50% of $100.

This shows how one payment is split. It does not set the floor by itself. On KURV, “floor” means the vault floor: the backing each piece carries. It is not a market price, and it can change.

See Fees for the full schedule. Backing and the vault floor carry risk: read Risks and disclaimer before you launch.
