Sale methods, phases and allowlists
This page covers three choices you make before you launch: how people buy, when they can buy, and who can buy. For which of these are actually launchable on testnet today, see What’s live right now.
Pick a sale method
Section titled “Pick a sale method”| Method | What buyers pay |
|---|---|
| Fixed price | Everyone pays the same price. |
| Mystery mint | Everyone pays the same price. The art stays sealed until you reveal it. |
| Pay in your token | A fixed amount of your community’s coin, not USDC. |
| Rising auction | Takes bids; the highest bid wins. |
| Falling auction | Starts high and drops until someone buys. |
With every method, buyers get the next piece in line. No one can choose a piece by number.
Mystery mints
Section titled “Mystery mints”A mystery mint seals your art when you launch. Buyers cannot see which piece is which until you reveal. When you reveal, the collection only accepts the art it was sealed with. So the art cannot be swapped after people have bought.
Set up phases
Section titled “Set up phases”A phase is a window of time with its own price and limits. You can have one phase or several. A common setup is two: an allowlist phase, then a public phase.
- Give the phase a name buyers will see, like “Friends” or “Public”.
- Set when it opens: Now, or Pick a time.
- Set when it closes, if you want to. If you leave it empty, the phase closes when the next phase opens. On the last phase, it runs until the collection sells out.
- Set the price in dollars, paid in USDC. Type 0 for a free mint.
- Set max per wallet and max per transaction.
- Set most this phase can sell, if you want a cap. 0 means no cap.
- Add wallets to only these wallets to make it an allowlist phase. Leave it empty for a public phase.
Plan your phases before you sign. After launch you can change when a sale opens, and when it closes if you set a close time. That works for the phase that is open now or the next one to open. The app has no screen for changing prices, limits or lists.
Add an allowlist
Section titled “Add an allowlist”- Paste wallet addresses into only these wallets, one per line.
- To give a wallet its own limit, add a comma and a number after it.
- Wallets with no number get the phase’s max per wallet.

When someone opens the mint page, it checks their wallet against the list. If they are not on it, the page tells them before they press Mint.
Pay in your token
Section titled “Pay in your token”- On the sale screen, pick Pay in your token. Or, on a phase, press Price in your own coin instead.
- Paste the coin address.
- Type the price in that coin. “5” means five of that coin.
Buyers first allow the collection to take the coins, then mint. When the network cost is covered for them, both steps happen in one tap. Otherwise their wallet asks twice.
Only standard ERC-20 tokens work. Tokens that take a cut on each transfer, or whose balances change on their own, cannot be used.
To try it on the testnet, use KTEST, our test token. It has no value. If you are an invited tester, Get test funds gives you test USDC and KTEST once a day.
Free mints
Section titled “Free mints”Set the price to 0 to launch a free mint. Free mints carry a $0.25 service fee for each NFT minted. The person minting pays it, or you can choose to pay it for them. Network costs are separate.
| Free mint | Service fee |
|---|---|
| 1 NFT | $0.25 |
| 4 NFTs | $1.00 |
Paid mints do not have this fee. They have their own fee instead. See Fees for the full schedule, and read Risks and disclaimer before you launch.
