Explore and trading
You can browse every collection launched on KURV and look through each piece in it, trade with other collectors, and buy a returned piece back from a collection’s vault. For what’s actually running on testnet today, see What’s live right now.
Browse launches
Section titled “Browse launches”Explore only lists collections that really launched on chain. Nothing on the shelf is made up.
- Open Explore.
- The newest launch sits at the top as the hero, under King of the hill.
- Pick an order: New, Almost gone or Most left.
- Tap a filter chip to narrow the list, for example Free or Paid, a status such as Live or Sold out, or Art showing or Art hidden. A chip only appears when it would change the list without emptying it, so you may see few chips or none.
- Tap a launch to open it, or tap its piece count to browse the collection.
If nothing has launched yet, you’ll see “Nothing has launched yet” instead of sample collections. If your chips leave nothing, the page says so.
On a vault collection, a tile can show Floor. That is the vault floor: what the collection’s vault pays to buy a piece back right now, from the backing each piece carries. It is not a market price, and it can change.
Look through a collection
Section titled “Look through a collection”A collection page shows every piece in the collection.
- Filter by trait to find the look you want.
- Filter by holder: All, Unminted or Held.
- Sort: By number, Recently moved, Rarest first or Most common first. The two rarity sorts appear once every piece’s traits have loaded.
- Check who holds each piece. It says Yours, shows another holder, or says On the shelf if nobody has minted it yet. If the holders haven’t been read up to date, it says Holder unknown instead.
- Tap a piece to open it.
Each view says how up to date it is:
- A green dot means current.
- A yellow dot means the page is still catching up.
- An amber card means the chain has moved or didn’t answer, so holders may have changed. Tap Check again.
- If nothing is indexed yet, a card offers Build the index.
The holders and traits stay current even when nobody has the page open. Our server reads the chain in small batches, once a minute.
Trading between collectors
Section titled “Trading between collectors”Trading between collectors runs on Seaport, an open trading protocol. A holder lists a piece at their own price, or accepts an offer, and any collector can buy it or make an offer.
Each collection sets one royalty between 5% and 10%. It comes out of what the seller gets and is never added to the buyer’s price; the buyer pays the listed price plus network costs.
The royalty is split 50% to the creator, 25% to the collection’s vault and 25% to KURV. On a $100 sale:
| Royalty | Seller gets | Creator | Vault | KURV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5% | $95.00 | $2.50 | $1.25 | $1.25 |
| 10% | $90.00 | $5.00 | $2.50 | $2.50 |
The vault’s share adds to the collection’s backing.
Listing a piece, changing its price, cancelling a listing, and making or cancelling an offer cost no KURV fee. An accepted offer is a sale: the royalty is charged once, when it settles, never when the offer is made.
When the vault resells a piece
Section titled “When the vault resells a piece”Pieces sold back to a vault are never burned. The vault can sell them again, and the same royalty applies. The vault keeps what it gets as seller plus its 25% share of the royalty. All of that stays in the collection’s backing. There is no extra fee on a resale. On a $100 resale:
| Royalty | Creator | KURV | Vault keeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5% | $2.50 | $1.25 | $96.25 |
| 10% | $5.00 | $2.50 | $92.50 |
The vault refuses a resale if what it would keep is not enough to cover the backing that piece needs to become active again.
Other marketplaces
Section titled “Other marketplaces”KURV doesn’t enforce royalties on other marketplaces. If you trade a piece somewhere else, that marketplace decides whether the royalty is paid.
